Is the Volkswagen Magotan clutch dry or wet?

Magotan clutch is a wet dual-clutch. The clutch plate is a composite material that primarily functions through friction while also meeting structural performance requirements. Automotive friction materials are mainly used to manufacture brake friction plates and clutch plates. The working principle of the clutch is as follows: 1. Disengagement when depressing the clutch: When starting the vehicle, the driver depresses the clutch, and the movement of the clutch pedal pulls the pressure plate backward, separating it from the friction plate. At this point, the pressure plate and flywheel are completely out of contact, resulting in no relative friction. 2. Full engagement when not depressing the clutch: During normal driving, the pressure plate tightly presses against the flywheel's friction plate, creating maximum friction between them. The input shaft and output shaft maintain relative static friction, rotating at the same speed. 3. Partial engagement (semi-engagement) when partially depressing the clutch: The friction between the pressure plate and friction plate is less than in full engagement. The pressure plate and flywheel's friction plate are in a state of sliding friction, with the flywheel rotating faster than the output shaft, transferring partial power from the flywheel to the transmission. In this state, the connection between the engine and drive wheels is equivalent to a soft connection.
