Vios is a family sedan produced by FAW Toyota and launched in 2004. The Vios is an entry-level family model specifically designed and developed by Toyota for the Asian market. Based on the NBC platform, with an extended wheelbase, the Vios developed on a small car platform approaches the level of a compact sedan. The Vios is equipped with a domestically produced 16-valve 5A-FE engine, which is almost identical to the commonly used 8A engine in China, except for an increased piston stroke. The fuel tank capacity is 42 liters, and the displacement has been increased from 1.3 liters to 1.5 liters, with a corresponding maximum power output of 82kw. There are significant differences in configurations, with top-tier models featuring a DVD voice navigation system, while lower-end models cater to consumers with varying budget levels. The new Vios comes in six different models, equipped with a 1.5L 112-horsepower 5NR-FE engine. The body dimensions are 4435*1700*1490 (mm), with a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear torsion beam non-independent suspension. The ground clearance also reaches 160mm.
