Is the Venucia brand domestic or joint venture?

Venucia is a domestic brand, with its product lineup including the 30 Series, 50 Series, 60 Series, 70 Series, 90 Series, and the Morning Wind electric vehicle. Taking the 2020 Venucia D60 as an example, it belongs to the compact car category with body dimensions of 4756mm in length, 1803mm in width, and 1487mm in height, a wheelbase of 2700mm, a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters, and a curb weight of 1204kg. The 2020 Venucia D60 features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension. It is equipped with a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 126PS, a maximum power of 93kW, and a maximum torque of 168Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
When I previously researched domestic car brands, I paid special attention to the Venucia brand. It's indeed quite unique - initially operating under Dongfeng Nissan as a joint venture, but after 2017 it was fully acquired by Dongfeng Group and became a purely domestic brand. Nowadays, if you visit their R&D center, you'll see an entirely domestic team. The chassis tuning for their new models like the VX6 and the Big V are all done independently at the Xiangyang Proving Ground. The good thing is they've retained some technical heritage from their former parent company - for example, the Venucia DDi hybrid system still carries some Nissan DNA, but with much more affordable pricing than joint venture vehicles.
