Is the Subject One Test Based on Original Questions?

The driving license Subject One test includes some original questions, but there are also some new questions. The questions in the question bank are only practice exercises based on the scope of the Subject One test. Introduction to Subject One: 1. Question types: The total time for the Subject One test is 45 minutes, and the test paper consists of 100 questions, including true/false and single-choice questions, with a full score of 100 and a passing score of 90. The test paper is randomly selected and combined by the computer driver test system according to the proportion specified in the "Motor Vehicle Driver's License Work Regulations." 2. Test requirements: Follow the instructions of the staff and receive your own driving file in order in the waiting area; carry and present your ID card for inspection by the supervising officer; mobile phones must be turned off in the test area; loud noise is not allowed in the test area.
The subject one exam indeed draws questions from a fixed question bank, which my driving school instructor explained very clearly. The question bank contains over a thousand questions in total, and 100 are randomly selected for the exam, with a passing score of 90. When I took the test, I used the Driving Test Prep app to practice, doing 200-300 questions daily for five consecutive days before taking the exam. However, it's important to note that sometimes traffic regulations are updated, and the question bank gets adjusted accordingly. For example, last year new questions related to special license plates for new energy vehicles were added. Also, those pictorial signs are the easiest to confuse, like the 'No Entry' and 'No Thoroughfare' signs—I didn't fully distinguish them until the night before the exam. It's best to review the wrong answer sets multiple times during practice, as it's really helpful.
