This stems from its rally heritage, famous since the '90s. Nowadays, younger folks might mistake STI for a standalone brand, but it's not—just check the badges and model manuals. The new WRX can be seen as an evolution, yet it retains that wild style.

When I went to the 4S store to pick a car, the salesperson told me that the Impreza has two options: the regular version and the STI performance version. The former is more family-oriented and comfortable, while the latter leans towards sportiness. After driving it for a few days, I could really feel that the STI has significant improvements in acceleration and stability, but the chassis is the same as the regular Impreza—don't get confused. During maintenance, the mechanic mentioned that STI parts are more expensive, but the money is well spent.
