Is the Santa Fe's filter built-in or external?

The Santa Fe's filter is built-in. The types of filters include: 1. Air filter: Located in front of the carburetor or intake pipe, it filters out dust and sand particles from the air, ensuring that sufficient and clean air enters the cylinder; 2. Oil filter: Located in the engine lubrication system, its function is to filter out harmful impurities from the oil in the oil pan. The Santa Fe is a high-end mid-size luxury SUV under Beijing Hyundai. The front grille of this vehicle adopts Hyundai's family-style hexagonal design, with dimensions of 4930mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1720mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2865mm. The vehicle offers a 7-seat three-row seating configuration and is the first model from Beijing Hyundai to feature turbocharging and direct fuel injection technology.
Last time I accompanied my friend to get his old Santa Fe serviced, the mechanic mentioned that the car's cabin air filter is quite hidden. In the old Santa Fe models, you have to remove the glove box to replace the cabin air filter, as it's an internal design, making it a bit tricky for DIY. However, the oil filter is exposed under the engine bay, and you can easily replace it with a wrench. The mechanic said that the newer models from the 2020 version onwards have been improved—the cabin air filter has been relocated to a plastic cover at the base of the windshield. You can just unclip the cover and pull it out, as easy as pulling a tissue from a box.
