Is the Sagitar a B-segment car?

The Sagitar is not a B-segment car. B-segment cars are mid-size sedans, while the Sagitar is an A-segment car, which refers to compact cars. The Sagitar is a compact family sedan under the Volkswagen brand. Its body dimensions are 4655mm in length, 1780mm in width, and 1453mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2651mm. The new Sagitar is equipped with two engines: a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine and a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.2-liter turbocharged engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the 1.4-liter turbocharged engine is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
I've checked a lot of materials, and manufacturers always advertise the Sagitar as an A+ class car. But to be honest, the wheelbase of the new Sagitar is now 2731mm, which is even longer than the old B-class Passat B5. Last time I drove my friend's old Mazda 6, the rear space wasn't as spacious as my Sagitar. Nowadays, the boundary between A-class and B-class is becoming increasingly blurred, and it's really hard to define by letter grades alone. In my opinion, it's stuck in the middle—the space and configuration meet the entry-level B-class standards, but the manufacturer's pricing strategy still follows the A-class market. It's quite an interesting positioning.
