The Ram is a car model under the automotive brand Dodge. The Dodge Ram has a more compact body shape, with a short front end and a curved transition to the windshield, giving it a slightly better sense of overall integration. In terms of power: The Dodge Ram is equipped with a 5.2L V8 gasoline engine. The most notable feature of this engine is its ability to provide substantial torque, reaching a peak torque of 440N.m at 3200r/min. The engine operates very smoothly, making its operation virtually undetectable inside the car. In terms of interior: The Dodge Ram's cabin features three rows of seats, with an overall layout similar to the domestic GL8. The second-row seats are arranged separately on the left and right, each independent and equipped with comfort features such as heating and massage functions. Each seat has its own control handle, allowing passengers to adjust the functions themselves.

I've been into cars since the 1980s, back then the Dodge Ram was the symbol of American pickup trucks, absolutely a member of the Dodge family. Nowadays, when people talk about the 'Big Ram', they mostly refer to the Ram series pickups, like the Ram 1500. But in 2010, Dodge spun off Ram as an independent brand called Ram Trucks to focus on sedans and SUVs. So strictly speaking, modern 'Big Rams' aren't Dodges anymore - they have their own logo and development path. Many old-school fans like me still prefer calling it Dodge Ram because of that history and nostalgia. Driving a Ram really feels great - powerful and durable. Reminiscing about the old days always makes me want to talk about stories of those classic models.

I recently bought a Ram 1500, and it drives incredibly well, but I noticed it doesn't actually carry the Dodge badge anymore. The 'Big Horn' name originated from Dodge's Ram series of pickups, but now it's officially under the Ram brand. After 2009, Chrysler Group spun off Ram to focus on enhancing truck performance. If you see a vehicle on the road with the Ram's head logo, that's a Ram, not a Dodge. However, many people still habitually call it the Dodge Ram because that's what the older models were called. Ram trucks offer great value for money and top-notch off-road capabilities. I'm now more interested in its new technologies like air suspension, which makes long-distance driving truly comfortable.

What is the correct method for starting a manual transmission car on a slope?

After driving onto an uphill slope, beginners must engage the handbrake and shift into neutral. A few seconds before the traffic light is about to turn green, depress the clutch and shift into first gear. Place your right hand on the handbrake. After confirming that the car in front has started moving, slowly release the clutch a little. Never release the handbrake before partially releasing the clutch. Hold the clutch at a certain position after releasing it slightly—do not release it too much, as this can easily cause the engine to stall. When you feel the car has forward momentum, slowly release the handbrake. Gently press the accelerator with your right foot, using an intermittent throttle technique at this stage.

What to Do If You Forget Which Gear You're in with a Manual Transmission Car?

First, memorize the position of each gear. You can tell which gear you're currently in by feeling the position of the gear lever with your hand. Never develop the habit of looking down at the gear lever. This habit is extremely dangerous and severely compromises driving safety. Shift gears promptly, correctly, smoothly, and swiftly. When starting the car, generally use a low gear. After starting, quickly and timely shift up to higher gears. Under normal circumstances, it is not allowed to forcibly shift into a lower gear when the vehicle speed is high. This should only be done in very special situations, such as when it's not advisable to use the brake on icy or snowy roads.

How to Adjust Manual Rearview Mirrors?

Use a flexible plastic card to insert into the gap of the rearview mirror panel; forcefully pry open the clip at the indicated location. Note that there are four symmetrical clips—top, bottom, left, and right. Pry both top clips slightly to create a small gap, then use your left hand to assist in wiggling and pulling the panel outward to remove it. Disconnect the male plug from the panel; be careful not to pull the wires—press the plastic latch on the plug instead. Insert the male plug of the module into the female slot on the switch panel; then, use the original male plug (the one just removed) to insert into the female slot of the module.
