Is the Lowered Car Body Caused by Damaged Shock Absorbers?

A lowered car body is not caused by damaged shock absorbers. Shock absorbers are generally not prone to failure. You can check for oil leaks to determine if they are damaged. Additionally, damaged shock absorbers do not cause the car body to lower; they only result in poor damping performance, making the car more susceptible to bottoming out. The lowered car body is actually caused by the fatigue of the shock absorber springs surrounding the shock absorbers. If the difference in height between the left and right sides is too large, it will affect the overall balance of the vehicle. You can replace only the spring on the lower side, but it is recommended to replace both left and right springs together if possible, as this ensures better balance.
