I've been driving the Lexus UX260h hybrid for almost two years. This model belongs to the full hybrid type and doesn't require plug-in charging. It has a very small battery that mainly relies on engine operation and brake energy regeneration for charging. Just refuel as usual, and the pure electric mode can only cover very short distances at low speeds. The UX new energy series also has a pure electric version called UX300e, which relies entirely on charging stations for energy replenishment. The hybrid version doesn't have a charging port, so it's not considered a plug-in hybrid. The full hybrid technology is quite mature, with fuel consumption around 5 liters, and the power delivery is smooth and quiet. However, the newly launched plug-in hybrids can be externally charged and offer over 50 kilometers of pure electric range.

Is the Corolla based on the TNGA architecture?

Corolla is based on the TNGA architecture, which is similar to Volkswagen's MQB and MLB modular platforms, but these are not identical concepts. This architecture represents an upgrade in the overall system capabilities. The Corolla is a compact sedan launched by FAW Toyota. The new-generation Corolla is built on the all-new TNGA architecture, achieving overall vehicle lightweighting. In terms of the car's exterior and interior, the vehicle's quality has significantly improved, with a more youthful overall design. The TNGA architecture lowers the center of gravity of the new Corolla. For the hybrid version, the battery is relocated beneath the rear seats, which not only enhances driving stability but also increases interior space. Built on the new platform, the Corolla also features upgraded suspension. The front suspension's eccentric pressure bearing aligns with the kingpin, effectively improving steering precision and enhancing the durability of the eccentric pressure bearing.

How to Adjust a Slightly Misaligned Steering Wheel?

First, measure the tire pressure on both sides. When the tire pressure is inconsistent, the vehicle will tend to drive towards the side with lower pressure. If there are no issues with the tires, check the condition of the chassis components. Changes in the four-wheel alignment values can also cause the steering wheel to become misaligned after some time of use. When the tie rod is at the front, if the steering wheel is tilted to the left, extend the left tie rod outward and shorten the right one inward. Conversely, if the steering wheel is tilted to the right, do the opposite. The same applies vice versa. If the issue persists, you can first straighten the steering wheel, keep the wheels stationary, remove the steering wheel, adjust its position manually, and then tighten the steering wheel screws.

What is the break-in mileage for the Corolla?

The break-in mileage for the Corolla is between 3,000 to 5,000 kilometers. When the car leaves the factory, the internal components of the engine have not yet reached an optimal matching state, so a break-in period is necessary. After the break-in is completed, all internal engine parts can function properly, resulting in better efficiency. During the break-in period, it is crucial to avoid aggressive driving, as this can negatively affect the normal break-in process. Additionally, using high-quality fuel when refueling helps the engine perform better. The Corolla is a compact sedan produced by FAW Toyota, with body dimensions of 4,630mm in length, 1,775mm in width, and 1,480mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,700mm.
