Infiniti QX50 is not imported, it is domestically produced. This model belongs to the Dongfeng Infiniti brand. The Infiniti QX50 is a mid-size SUV equipped with two types of engines: a low-power version 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a high-power version 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. In terms of exterior design, the Infiniti QX50 features a new honeycomb-style intake grille and a redesigned lower air intake. The fog light area adopts a new polygonal design and includes LED daytime running lights. Regarding body dimensions, the Infiniti QX50 measures 4744mm in length, 1803mm in width, and 1614mm in height.
I'm a car enthusiast and quite familiar with Infiniti. The QX50 used to be imported, shipped directly from Japan. Back then, not only was the price high, but repairs were also troublesome, as you had to wait for imported parts. However, in recent years, it has been localized for production in China, manufactured by Dongfeng Nissan, so most of the QX50s available in the market now are domestically produced versions. Why the shift to local production? I guess it's to reduce costs and boost sales. After localization, the price dropped by 10-20%, and the configurations weren't reduced. On the contrary, localized services improved, making maintenance much more convenient. If you come across a used older imported model, it might still be the original import, but for new purchases, they are mostly made in China. This change is good for us consumers—faster repairs and more savings.
