The ETC installation location is in the upper middle part of the front windshield horizontally. For large vehicles such as trucks and buses, the installation location is in the lower middle part. If removed arbitrarily, the lever will pop out and trigger the switch, locking the electronic tag and rendering it unusable. You will then need to visit an ETC service point to unlock it. This is designed to prevent multiple vehicles from sharing one device. The installation height should be no less than 1.2 meters and no more than 2.5 meters. The installation angle should be between 30° and 90° (the angle between the surface of the electronic tag and the horizontal plane).
