Yesterday I accompanied a friend to test drive the Geely Icon, which actually isn't an electric vehicle. My friend thought pure electric models would be more economical, but the salesperson explained clearly: the Geely Icon mainly features a 1.5T engine with a 48V mild hybrid system, primarily gasoline-powered. What's interesting is that BSG motor - it helps the engine save fuel during traffic jams, with actual combined fuel consumption around 6.8L. This model does offer a plug-in hybrid version that can run about 60km on pure electricity. With charging stations becoming more common, using the hybrid version as an electric car could be quite practical. For those wanting a pure electric version, I'd recommend checking out Geely's Geometry series.
