Highway service area gas stations operated by the same company in the same region have the same fuel prices as those outside. Gas station prices across the country are uniformly set by the National Development and Reform Commission. Additional information is as follows: Classification of highway service areas: As supporting facilities developed alongside the growth of the expressway industry, highway service areas hold significant importance for the rapid development of expressways and the increase in mileage planning. Effective operation and high-quality services at these service areas can better realize the social service value of expressways, enhance the economic benefits of expressway investment companies, provide employment opportunities, and address the redistribution of surplus personnel. Additionally, developing service areas presents opportunities to acquire rare land resources at relatively low costs. Therefore, by reviewing relevant domestic and international literature and considering the current state and development trends of China's expressway planning and construction, we analyze the various functions of service areas. Based on their planned size and the completeness of their functions, highway service areas are categorized into three types: Class I, Class II, and Class III service areas, each with its own distinct characteristics.
