Is the factory oil level for motorcycles always overfilled?

Motorcycle factory oil levels are not overfilled. The following are the impacts of excessive oil: Reduced power output and increased fuel consumption: The oil at the bottom of the cylinder does not come into contact with the crankshaft. If the oil touches the crankshaft, it indicates an excessive oil level. The crankshaft relies on oil for lubrication, but not through direct contact. Its lubrication is achieved by the pressure oil provided by the oil pump. If there is too much oil in the engine, the crankshaft may be partially or fully submerged in oil, increasing the resistance it faces. Externally, this manifests as sluggish engine operation and increased operational resistance. Potential damage to the catalytic converter: Excessive oil entering the combustion chamber worsens exhaust emissions, affecting the lifespan of the catalytic converter. In severe cases, it may even damage the catalytic converter.
