Is the Envision a four-wheel drive vehicle?

The Envision is available with four-wheel drive. According to the official introduction from SAIC-GM Buick, the Envision currently sold in China is divided into a 1.5-liter turbocharged version and a 2.0-liter turbocharged version. The 1.5-liter version of the Envision is exclusively front-wheel drive, while the 2.0-liter version is exclusively four-wheel drive. Generally speaking, if the car is frequently used on urban roads, the two-wheel-drive version of the Envision can be chosen. If the owner has certain off-road needs and the driving conditions are more complex, the four-wheel-drive version of the Envision can be selected. The Envision is a mid-size SUV produced by SAIC-GM Buick, with power options including a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. In terms of transmission, the Envision offers a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 9-speed automatic transmission as options.
The Buick Envision does offer AWD versions, but also comes with FWD configurations—it really depends on which model you choose. My 28T Elite trim is AWD, equipped with an on-demand AWD system that primarily relies on the front wheels for fuel efficiency, but automatically switches to AWD in rain, snow, or rough terrain. The system responds quickly, with power individually distributed to the rear wheels, noticeably improving grip on mountain roads. However, be aware that the AWD version costs about 20,000 RMB more than the FWD and has slightly higher fuel consumption, roughly an extra 1L/100km in city driving. If you mainly drive in southern urban areas for daily commutes, FWD is absolutely sufficient and more economical. But for those in northern regions or frequently traveling on rural roads, AWD can be a lifesaver on icy surfaces.
