Is the Crown car rear-wheel drive?

The domestically produced FAW Toyota Crown series features an FR (front-engine, rear-wheel drive) layout. Buses utilizing this front-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration are easily modified from trucks and share many components with them. In addition to sharing similar advantages and disadvantages with front-engine, rear-wheel drive trucks, this layout also has the following drawbacks: 1. The protruding engine hood reduces cabin space utilization and results in higher interior noise levels, making sound insulation and vibration damping more challenging, thereby affecting ride comfort; 2. The front axle tends to be overloaded, leading to suboptimal weight distribution that impacts handling stability; 3. Limited front suspension results in excessive rear overhang, making the vehicle prone to scraping the ground when climbing slopes.
