This car is not a joint venture brand. The Exeed is a sub-brand of the domestic Chery Automobile. In recent years, it has been positioned as an affordable luxury car series. Although it is a domestic car, it is also the result of years of research and development by Chery. Exterior Design: The Exeed XT adopts the Life-in-Motion design concept. Compared to the models previously showcased at auto shows, the new car features a large-mouth-style front grille, which combines boldness with a touch of fashion. The slim headlights integrated with the grille add a hint of sophistication. This front-end design is highly distinctive. Interior Design: The cabin exudes a strong sense of technology. The 13.4-inch floating central display is equipped with the Lion Smart Cloud system. The flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel and the stylish electronic gear shifter further enhance the premium feel. Additionally, the interior uses a large amount of Alcantara material, giving it a strong sense of luxury. Such an interior naturally exudes a high-end vibe.

When it comes to Chery Exeed, it's not a joint venture car but a completely homegrown Chinese brand. Chery is our own domestic company headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui, and doesn't collaborate with foreign automakers for production, unlike those joint venture brands like Volkswagen or Toyota. Exeed is Chery's premium sub-brand launched in 2018, built with purely domestic technology using self-developed engines and platforms. I often tell my friends when discussing cars that choosing domestic brands offers great value - affordable maintenance, high-end features, and supports local industries. While many joint venture cars perform well on the market, independent brands like Exeed are making rapid progress. Those who've driven it praise its handling and intelligent systems. If you're on a budget, it's a solid choice - just remember to check reviews before buying and don't be misled by brand names.

I've been following cars for over a decade, and Exeed is definitely not a joint venture brand. It's just a sub-brand under Chery, which is 100% Chinese-owned without any foreign capital involvement. Brands like Changan Ford are true joint ventures. Exeed targets the youth market with fashionable designs and cutting-edge technology, offering more affordable pricing than joint venture counterparts. These cars deliver good fuel efficiency and spacious interiors, making them ideal for urban commuting. A friend of mine drives an Exeed TX and reports stable handling with reliable performance, though the suspension can feel slightly stiff occasionally, making long-distance drives a bit tiring. I recommend test driving before purchasing—don't just rely on marketing claims. Domestic brands have made significant improvements in recent years and can save you a lot of money.

To put it simply, Xingtu is not a joint-venture car, it's a domestic brand made by Chery. For us ordinary folks buying cars, the key is to understand the difference: joint-venture cars have foreign brand backing, while Xingtu doesn't have that relationship, offering affordable prices with generous features. They're reliable with few faults and easy to maintain. My neighbor bought a Xingtu Landwing last year and is quite satisfied with it.

Are there any impacts of purchasing a car in a different location and registering it locally?

Purchasing a car in a different location and registering it locally has no impact, as long as you have the car purchase invoice and the vehicle qualification certificate, you can buy a car in a different location and register it locally. Generally, the use of temporary license plates for a new car cannot exceed 15 days, which means that after purchasing a car in a different location, you must apply for formal license plates from the vehicle management authority within 15 days. If absolutely necessary, you can also choose to extend the temporary license plates, with a maximum of 3 extensions. If the temporary license plates expire, you may face fines, penalty points, or even have the vehicle impounded. For car owners who purchase vehicles in a different location, it is recommended to return to the local area as soon as possible and register the vehicle promptly. Exceeding the 15-day limit will result in penalties. If there are urgent matters, you can also choose to apply for an extension of the temporary license plates at the vehicle management authority and complete the local registration after handling the situation.

How to open the hood of a Polo?

To open the hood of a Polo, you need to pull the hood release lever located in the driver's compartment and then lift the hood latch in the engine compartment. Below are the methods for opening a car hood: 1. For most sedans, the hood release handle is located under the dashboard near the driver's left calf, facing towards the front of the car. After pulling it, the hood will pop up about 1cm. Hold the hood with one hand and use the other hand to reach above the grille to find the hood latch. The location is similar across different models, but the direction of movement may vary. 2. There is a cable handle below the steering wheel. Pull it to unlock, then lift the hood with both hands to a certain height. Reach into the middle with your fingers to push a latch inward, which will allow you to fully open the engine hood. 3. For hoods with hydraulic struts, simply pull the handle. The hood release for most cars on the market is located on the lower panel on the driver's side.

How to Read the Oil Dipstick on Changan CS35?

For the Changan CS35, wait 5 minutes after turning off the engine before opening the hood. Pull out the yellow cap to extract the oil dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it out again to see the oil level mark on the dipstick. Below are the detailed steps for changing the engine oil: 1. Start the vehicle and let the coolant reach normal operating temperature, then turn off the engine. The purpose of warming up the engine before changing the oil is to ensure the oil flows freely, carrying away impurities. Use a jack to lift the vehicle and engage the parking brake. 2. Use the onboard tools to loosen the oil drain plug at the bottom of the oil pan, allowing the old oil to drain out. Be sure to collect the old oil in a container to avoid environmental contamination. Once the oil has completely drained, reinstall the drain plug, taking care not to overtighten it to prevent damage to the oil pan. 3. Use an oil filter wrench to loosen the oil filter. Apply new oil to the seal of the new filter, then manually install the new oil filter and tighten it with the tool. 4. Pour the new oil into the oil filler port, using a funnel if necessary. 5. After adding the oil, check for any leaks. If there are no issues, remove the jack and lower the vehicle. Use the oil dipstick to confirm the oil level, then restart the vehicle to check if any warning lights are illuminated.

What is the function of a lighting fuse?

The function of a lighting fuse is to automatically melt and cut off the current when the current abnormally rises to a certain level and duration, thereby protecting the safe operation of the circuit. The conductor inside the fuse is made of a metal similar to solder, which has a lower melting point than ordinary wires. The size of this conductor is precisely calibrated so that it can generate sufficient heat to melt and break the circuit when the rated current is reached. Fuses have two important working parameters: one is the working voltage, and the other is the rated current. Car owners should select fuses based on the voltage and current in the circuit when purchasing or replacing them.

How to adjust the air pressure regulating valve of an air suspension seat?

Air suspension seats' air pressure regulating valves can be adjusted at the air valve located under the seat. Air suspension seats are commonly found in large buses or trucks, as they enhance comfort. Generally, regular passenger cars or SUVs are not equipped with air suspension seats; their seats typically only feature electric adjustments. Similar to regular car seats, air suspension seats allow for height and backrest angle adjustments via a control mechanism. Beneath these seats, there is a black airbag that can be inflated. Some luxury MPVs also feature air suspension seats in the rear to improve passenger comfort. The regulating valve under the air suspension seat requires regular maintenance, as neglecting it may lead to air leakage.

What is the normal range of ignition advance angle?

The normal range of ignition advance angle is between 6 to 12 degrees. The ignition advance angle refers to the crankshaft rotation angle from the moment of ignition until the piston reaches the top dead center of compression. This angle helps the engine achieve optimal power, fuel efficiency, and emissions. To prevent power loss, it is recommended to set the ignition advance angle above 6 degrees, which is also the required rotation angle for car startup. An appropriate ignition advance angle allows the engine to perform more mechanical work per cycle. If the ignition advance angle is too large, knocking may occur; if it is too small, the engine temperature will rise. Factors affecting the ignition advance include engine speed and the combustion speed of the air-fuel mixture.
