Changan CS85's dual-clutch transmission is wet-type. Wet dual-clutch transmissions offer superior reliability, stability, and smoother gear shifting. The Changan CS85 features a MacPherson independent suspension at the front and a multi-link independent suspension at the rear. The CS85 is equipped with two engines: a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers 178 horsepower and a maximum torque of 265 Nm, with peak torque available between 1,450 and 4,500 rpm and maximum power at 5,500 rpm.
