The car engine is not waterproof. The generator is a component of the electrical system, containing stator windings and rotor coils. If water enters, it may cause damage. After the engine gets wet, check the electrical circuits: Since dirty rainwater is an excellent conductor, circuits may short-circuit when exposed to water. Check if the braking system has been infiltrated by water: Due to the strong absorption capability of the braking system, rainwater can easily enter the brake fluid, affecting braking performance and, in severe cases, leading to brake system failure. Damage caused by engine water ingress: Once the car engine is flooded, minor issues may include the spark plugs failing to ignite or even stalling directly. Severe cases can lead to cylinder scuffing, cylinder explosion, connecting rod fracture, crankshaft bending, etc.
