Currently, the 2023 Boyue COOL lineup all uses a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with a maximum horsepower of 181, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Back in 2019, the Boyue PRO did offer a 1.5T three-cylinder version, but its actual sales proportion was very small, as many owners specifically chose the four-cylinder model. The three-cylinder engine was mainly a test at the time, but it was later found that consumers were still very concerned about vibration issues. Now, the main sales models have long since switched back to four-cylinders. My neighbor bought a Boyue L last year, which is also confirmed to have a four-cylinder engine, with decent fuel consumption—around 8 liters per 100 km in the city. If you're considering a used older model, I recommend checking the VIN to confirm the specific configuration, but over 90% of the Boyues on the market now are four-cylinders.
