As an X5 owner for several years, I can confirm it's equipped with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system. Driving through rainy and muddy conditions, the car remains stable without fishtailing, proving much safer than two-wheel drive. The advantages of AWD are particularly evident on suburban mountain roads or snowy terrain, with quick braking response and agile cornering. But don't forget maintenance costs - changing the oil every two years extends its lifespan. Daily driving fuel consumption is slightly higher but worthwhile, as the abundant power gives me peace of mind on every trip. BMW has achieved a balanced and practical AWD system in their SUVs.
