Is the Beijing License Plate Jing K Special?

Beijing vehicle license plate K is a normal motor vehicle license plate in the Beijing area and does not have any special features; it can only be used normally. Motor vehicle license plates, regardless of where they are registered, do not have any special characteristics. Motor vehicle license plates must be affixed to the motor vehicle and cannot be removed privately. Below are the traffic restriction areas for Beijing license plates: Beijing government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and institutions: Restricted one day per week (00:00-24:00), covering all road sections. Beijing residents and private enterprise vehicles: Restrictions based on the last digit of the license plate, restricted from 07:00-20:00, covering all roads within the Fifth Ring Road (excluding the Fifth Ring Road itself).
The Jing K license plate is just an ordinary car license plate in Beijing, with no special meaning. I just got a Jing K plate last month through the lottery, and my friends asked me if it came with any privileges, but it really doesn't. Currently, Beijing license plates are being issued in sequence up to Jing Q, and K plates were just regular plates issued around 2015. Don't believe the rumors online about special number segments—they're all normal plates for regular people, subject to the same traffic restrictions like one day a week. For me, aside from the letter looking a bit older, there's no difference between a Jing K and a Jing M or Jing N plate.
