Is the Audi A6L engine the same as the Passat?

Audi A6L engine and Passat are not the same. Introduction to the engine: An engine (Engine, motor) is a machine that can convert other forms of energy into mechanical energy, including internal combustion engines (such as gasoline engines), external combustion engines (such as Stirling engines, steam engines), electric motors, etc. Structure of the engine: The engine block is the skeleton of the engine and the installation base for all the mechanisms and systems of the engine. It houses all the main components and accessories of the engine, both internally and externally, and bears various loads. Therefore, the engine block must have sufficient strength and stiffness. The engine block group mainly consists of parts such as the cylinder block, cylinder liner, cylinder head, and cylinder gasket.
I've driven the older Audi A6L and my friend's Passat, and noticed they both used the EA888 engine model. But honestly, the 2.0T in the Audi is tuned much more aggressively - the Passat maxes out at 220 horsepower, while the A6L can reach 245 hp with 12V mild hybrid assistance. The Audi engine bay features an all-aluminum block for weight reduction, whereas the Passat still uses cast iron. The most noticeable difference is during cold starts - the Audi engine sound is significantly deeper and quieter. Now the new A6L has adopted the more advanced EA839 six-cylinder engine, which is completely different from the Passat's setup. The transmissions differ too - the Audi comes with the DL382 dual-clutch gearbox, which responds faster than the Passat's DQ381.
