Oshan X5's 1.6L engine delivers a maximum horsepower of 128 HP and a peak torque of 161 Nm. Here are the detailed specifications of Oshan X5: 1. Vehicle Positioning: Oshan X5 is positioned as a compact SUV with body dimensions of 4490x1860x1580 (mm) and a wheelbase of 2710mm. 2. Safety Features: Changan Oshan X5 adopts a high-strength steel ring body structure, with high-strength steel accounting for 78%. It comes equipped with DMS (Driver Monitoring System), LDW, ACC, AEB, ESP, ABS, EBD, BAS, TCS, ultra-HD surround-view driving recorder, cloud-eye rearview mirror, 360° panoramic imaging, and bodyguard mode. 3. Suspension: It features front MacPherson independent suspension and rear torsion beam non-independent suspension.
I've been driving the Oshan X5 1.6L for three years, and it's perfectly adequate for city commuting. It accelerates briskly from traffic lights, and doesn't get cut off in traffic jams. Once, fully loaded with five people and the air conditioning on while climbing a winding mountain road, as long as I was willing to step on the gas to reach 3000 rpm, the power was still sufficient. However, when overtaking, it does require a half-second advance judgment, after all, it's a naturally aspirated engine. For daily commuting or picking up the kids, this power is economical and practical. But if you frequently drive on highways or high-altitude mountain roads, I recommend the turbocharged version.
