Is synthetic lubricating oil fully synthetic or semi-synthetic?

Synthetic lubricating oil is neither fully synthetic nor semi-synthetic. Synthetic lubricating oil is a type of lubricating oil that is prepared through chemical synthesis, typically contrasted with mineral-refined lubricating oils. Fully synthetic oil: Fully synthetic oil refers to a high-quality oil product that is 100% made from PAO (polyalphaolefin) or artificially synthesized esters, and the oil container will be labeled with the word "synthetic." Semi-synthetic oil: Semi-synthetic oil is one type of motor oil. Motor oils are categorized into fully synthetic oil, semi-synthetic oil, and mineral oil. Semi-synthetic oil uses semi-synthetic base oil, which is a mixture of mineral oil and fully synthetic oil in a ratio of 4:6. It is slightly more expensive than mineral oil and serves as an ideal transitional product from mineral oil to synthetic oil.
