Is Soueast Motors a Domestic Car?
1 Answers
Soueast Motors is a domestic car and also a joint venture brand. Domestic cars and independent brand cars are two completely different concepts. Many people confuse the concept of independent brands with domestic cars, thinking that only independent brands can be considered domestic cars, such as Great Wall Motors. Domestic cars can be understood as any car produced in mainland China being called a domestic car. For example, BMW Brilliance and Beijing Benz are joint venture brands but are also domestic cars. Soueast Motor Co., Ltd., abbreviated as Soueast Motors, was jointly established by Fujian Motor Industry Group Co., Ltd. and China Motor Corporation, a subsidiary of Taiwan's Yulon Group. Soueast brands include: Delica, Freeca, Lancer, Veryca, Soueast C1, V3 Lingyue, V5 Lingzhi, and V6 Lingshi. Taking the V6 Lingshi as an example, it is the first compact hatchback launched by Soueast, with a length, width, and height of 4475mm, 1770mm, and 1475mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2610mm.
