Is Sinopec 92 the same as PetroChina 92?

Sinopec 92 and PetroChina 92 have certain differences in raw materials and composition. Gasoline from different brands comes from different crude oil sources. Most of Sinopec's crude oil is imported (mainly from the Middle East). PetroChina, on the other hand, has many domestic oil fields, primarily located in northern regions such as Daqing, Liaohe, and Karamay, so its crude oil is largely self-sufficient (domestically produced). In terms of raw materials alone, imported crude oil uses superior additives, making its quality slightly better than domestic crude oil. Additionally, Sinopec employs world-leading refining technology, resulting in a higher density of its gasoline compared to PetroChina's (Sinopec's gasoline density is approximately 0.76±0.01, while PetroChina's is around 0.72 to 0.73). Higher gasoline density translates to greater vehicle power, meaning Sinopec's gasoline is slightly more fuel-efficient than PetroChina's.
