Is Safety Technical Inspection the Same as Annual Inspection?
1 Answers
Safety technical inspection is part of the annual inspection. According to the Motor Vehicle Safety Technical Inspection Items and Methods, and the Supervision and Management Methods of Motor Vehicle Safety Technical Inspection Institutions, motor vehicles undergo safety technical inspections. Different types of motor vehicles must complete their annual inspections at varying intervals. Motor vehicle annual inspections can be conducted up to three months in advance. It is highly necessary to complete the annual inspection of motor vehicles promptly and efficiently. Driving a motor vehicle without an annual inspection is considered a violation of regulations. If a motor vehicle is involved in a traffic accident without a valid inspection, the insurance company may refuse to provide compensation. Annual Inspection Considerations: During the annual inspection, the vehicle management office will check the vehicle's lights. If the lights are found to be too dim or too bright, the vehicle will be deemed unqualified and will not pass the annual inspection. If the lights are too dim, check the lighting circuit and bulbs for aging, and replace the relevant components if necessary. If xenon headlights have been installed, it is recommended to revert to the original headlights before the annual inspection to pass the test.
