The Traffic Police Brigade of Beihai Public Security Bureau issued a notice soliciting opinions in the 'Beihai Daily' on April 20, proposing to ban large-displacement motorcycles above 150cc from entering the urban area. However, there is no clear ban yet. Additional information is as follows: Reasons for banning motorcycles: Motorcycles have a very low safety factor, disrupt traffic order, easily cause traffic congestion, and are more polluting than private cars. Due to cost constraints, motorcycles often have outdated engine technology and poor exhaust treatment capabilities. Currently, passenger cars in China implement the National IV standard, while motorcycles follow the National III standard. The exhaust emissions from motorcycles are approximately 2-10 times that of passenger cars.
