Is Leopaard a Domestic or Joint Venture Brand?

Leopaard is a domestic brand. Leopaard, short for Hunan Leopaard Automobile Co., Ltd., is a comprehensive automaker engaged in R&D, manufacturing, sales and service of complete vehicles and parts. Affiliated to Changfeng Group, it is headquartered in Changsha, Hunan Province, with three major vehicle production bases in Yongzhou (Hunan), Jingmen (Hubei) and Chuzhou (Anhui). Its model lineup includes CS10, CS9, Q6, Black King Kong and CT7 pickup. The CS10 measures 4719mm/1875mm/1700mm (L/W/H) with a 2700mm wheelbase.
When I was young, I worked in a factory and had a special affection for domestic cars. Leopaard Auto is definitely a domestic brand, having transitioned from a military enterprise. It is a state-owned company based in Hunan. Starting car production in the 1980s, it now focuses on SUV models, with the Leopaard Q6 being quite famous. Chinese homegrown brands have made significant progress over the years, and Leopaard represents the spirit of independent innovation. Unlike joint-venture brands such as Volkswagen or Toyota, which involve foreign companies, Leopaard is purely Chinese, with both R&D and production taking place domestically. As an older generation, I have personally witnessed how domestic cars overcame difficulties and became a source of pride for the Chinese people. I encourage everyone to support domestic products—they are both cost-effective and reliable.
