It is not permissible to make an immediate U-turn when driving the wrong way against traffic. Below are the relevant regulations: 1. Driving a motor vehicle without following overtaking or yielding rules, or driving against traffic, will result in a 3-point penalty; 2. Any act of driving against traffic is considered illegal and will incur penalty points; 3. On roads with solid dividing lines, motor vehicles entering the opposite lane (where the dividing line is double solid or single solid) are strictly prohibited from crossing the line under any circumstances; 4. On roads with dashed dividing lines, overtaking by borrowing the opposite lane is allowed if safety is ensured, but in case of an accident, the vehicle borrowing the lane will be deemed to be driving against traffic; 5. On roads marked with one-way signs, any motor vehicle entering will be considered as driving against traffic.
