It is not advisable to use the parking air conditioning for too long. It is generally recommended to ventilate every 3-4 hours. Here is an introduction about keeping the parking air conditioning on all the time: 1. Increase the load on the cooling system: It is not good for health. You can turn it off first and then turn it on again after a while. 2. Do not sleep in a closed car with the air conditioning on: Because the ventilation in the car is poor, the carbon monoxide emitted by the engine may seep into the car, which may cause carbon monoxide poisoning. 3. Internal and external circulation switch: When external circulation is used, the air conditioning draws air from outside the car. Internal circulation means the air inside the car is recycled.

Keeping the parking ventilation on all the time isn't actually ideal. I've driven several types of cars and noticed that leaving it on while parked continuously drains the battery. The battery has a limited capacity, and if it's left on for too long, the battery might run out, making it troublesome when you can't start the car. Once during summer, I tried leaving the ventilation on all day to cool down the interior, but the battery died, and I had to call for roadside assistance to fix it. Now, I always set a timer—like just 30 minutes or an hour—since there's no need to keep it running continuously. The ventilation function is meant to circulate air inside the car, preventing stuffiness or odors, but you need to balance practicality and avoid over-relying on it. It’s also important to regularly check the battery’s health, as older batteries are even more vulnerable to excessive drain. In short, occasional use is fine, but don’t leave it on for too long to avoid unexpected disruptions to your trip.

From an energy-saving perspective, keeping the parking ventilation running continuously is somewhat wasteful. I'm very environmentally conscious, and this feature operates on battery power when the engine is off. Continuous power consumption not only affects the battery's lifespan but may also reduce its overall efficiency. If the battery drains excessively, replacing it generates more electronic waste, which is harmful to the environment. Moreover, the car itself consumes energy during operation, so there's no need to add extra burden. It's best to turn it on as needed when parked, such as briefly ventilating on hot days to maintain comfort and avoid excessive interior temperature or stuffy air. I also frequently adjust based on weather forecasts, activating it only under strong sunlight for better efficiency. Developing this habit allows me to enjoy convenience while contributing to sustainability—a win-win situation.

I don't think it's a good idea to keep the parking ventilation on all the time. I've used it before and ended up draining the battery completely, leaving the car unable to start. It took a lot of effort to jump-start it. The ventilation system relies on the battery when the car is parked, and keeping it on can easily drain the battery. If the weather is hot, ventilation can help cool the car slightly, but there's no need to keep it on constantly. Checking the battery condition during routine vehicle inspections and performing regular maintenance can help avoid such issues.

How to Check the Displacement of a Prado?

You can check the displacement of a Prado by looking at the badge on the rear of the vehicle. The currently available Prado models are all equipped with a 3.5L displacement. Below are some related explanations about displacement: 1. Automobile displacement refers to the volume of fluid that a car intakes or exhausts per stroke or cycle. It is an important parameter for measuring a vehicle. 2. Displacement, a specialized term in hydraulic transmission, is one of the most critical structural parameters of an engine. It represents the size of an engine more accurately than bore diameter and the number of cylinders. Many performance indicators of an engine are closely related to its displacement. Generally, a larger displacement means the engine can release more energy (converting chemical energy from fuel into mechanical energy) per unit of time, resulting in better "power performance." 3. In China, passenger car classifications are determined based on displacement. Mini cars have a displacement of ≤1.0L; compact cars range from 1.0—1.6L; mid-size cars range from 1.6—2.5L; executive cars range from 2.5—4.0L; and luxury cars have a displacement of >4.0L.

Where is the keyhole for Hyundai's one-button start?

Modern one-button start keyhole is located at the lower right corner of the car's steering wheel. Here is a detailed introduction about car driving: 1. Overview: Car driving is one of the basic skills that modern people need to master. To master car driving (driving-a-motor-vehicle) technology, it requires qualified age and physical conditions; and requires training and examination on road traffic safety laws and regulations, relevant automotive mechanical knowledge, and safe driving knowledge. 2. Others: The permission to drive a vehicle is realized through the issuance of a driver's license. This indicates that obtaining a driver's license is an act with a certain format, which must be issued by a specialized authority.

What to Do When the Water Temperature Indicator Shows High Temperature?

Water Temperature Indicator Shows High Temperature: Causes and Solutions The reasons and solutions for high water temperature indication are as follows: 1. Depletion of coolant: Check the coolant level and whether it has deteriorated, then replenish the coolant. 2. Thermostat failure: In case of such a malfunction, the car must be sent to a 4S shop for inspection and repair. 3. Water temperature sensor failure: Check if the water temperature sensor and its circuit are functioning properly. The car's water temperature gauge measures the temperature of the engine's cooling water. The electronic control unit determines the temperature of the engine's cooling water based on this change. The lower the temperature, the greater the resistance; conversely, the smaller the resistance. 4. Other reasons: Check if the water radiator is blocked by foreign objects and inspect whether the fan blades are deformed.
