Is it okay to change engine oil in advance?

It is acceptable to change engine oil in advance. The replacement of engine oil should be based on the mileage specified in the maintenance manual. Generally, mineral oil can be changed every 5,000 kilometers, while synthetic oil can be extended to 8,000-10,000 kilometers. The methods to determine whether the engine oil needs to be changed are as follows: 1. Dipstick identification: Pull out the oil dipstick and observe the scale line against a bright light to see if it is clear. If the oil is relatively clear, it indicates that the contamination is not severe. However, it should be noted that oil mixed with floating additives will quickly turn dark black during use, which is a normal phenomenon due to the effect of the additives. 2. Color inspection: The closer the color of the oil is to that of new oil, the better the oil quality. If the color turns dark brown, it means the oil has been used for a long time and is indeed dirty; if the color turns red, it indicates the presence of combustion exhaust gas. If the oil turns milky white, it means water has entered the oil, causing it to deteriorate, and the oil should be replaced immediately.
