Is it okay for a motorcycle to get rained on?

Motorcycles can handle rain, but it's advisable to have a rain cover to protect important components. After getting wet, place the motorcycle in a ventilated area to dry, avoiding direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sun and rain can cause plastic and metal parts to age, discolor, or rust. Avoid riding through deep water to prevent short circuits in the controller and motor, which could damage the motorcycle. Tips for riding in the rain: 1. Neither the rider nor the passenger should use an umbrella. Riding with one hand is dangerous, and wind or bumps can cause the umbrella to shake, obstructing the rider's view. 2. Strong crosswinds can make umbrellas affect the motorcycle's lateral stability. Most rain comes from the front while riding, making umbrellas ineffective. 3. Always wear a helmet in the rain, but avoid covering it with a raincoat, as this can obstruct vision and limit head movement, making riding difficult.
