Is It No Longer Necessary to Display Insurance Stickers on Vehicles?
1 Answers
For cities where electronic insurance policies have not been implemented, vehicles are still required to display compulsory insurance stickers on the windshield as mandated. Currently, electronic insurance policies are gradually being introduced in only some cities in China, such as Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei, Guizhou, and Shanghai. Vehicle owners in these areas are exempt from displaying insurance stickers. Below is an introduction to compulsory insurance stickers: 1. Shape of compulsory insurance stickers: The compulsory insurance sticker is oval-shaped and must adhere to a standard of three color cycles. 2. Validity period and description of compulsory insurance stickers: The compulsory insurance sticker is a certification mark issued after a vehicle has paid for compulsory traffic insurance. The validity period of compulsory traffic insurance is one year. The front of the sticker is similar to the motor vehicle inspection compliance mark, while the back includes the policy number, vehicle license plate number, insurance period, underwriting company, service phone number, and additional remarks.
