The audio system in the Tiida can be upgraded. Methods for upgrading car audio systems: When upgrading, choose a suitable installation environment, preferably one that is safe, clean, and spacious. The technical expertise required for audio system upgrades varies depending on individual skills, so it's essential to have certain techniques, be familiar with the wiring and details of the upgrade, and use professional tools for disassembly and installation to keep the original car components intact. Avoid damaging the original car wiring during the process to prevent short circuits. Precautions for upgrading car audio systems: Avoid underestimating the professionalism of the chosen car modification shop. The primary concern when upgrading car audio systems is the electrical circuit. Always go to a car audio modification shop with professional experience for upgrades and repairs. Unprofessional shops may damage the original car wiring during the upgrade, which not only fails to improve the audio quality but also affects the vehicle's warranty and a series of after-sales services. When wiring, ensure that power lines, audio lines, and signal lines are routed separately, with proper shielding and protection between the lines to guarantee safety.

As an audiophile, I always felt the factory audio system in my new Tiida was a bit lackluster—flat sound, weak bass, and ear fatigue after long drives. Upgrading the audio made a huge difference. Adding an amplifier and high-quality speakers transformed the sound into something more immersive, with clearer details, especially in vocals and background music, making long drives much more enjoyable. The Tiida's stock paper cone speakers were noticeably outperformed by the upgrade to polyester film speakers, which expanded the soundstage. If you frequently take road trips and appreciate high-quality music, I highly recommend this upgrade as a worthwhile investment. Opt for reliable brands like Pioneer or Sony—around ¥2000 can cover professional installation. After the upgrade, test the volume to ensure it doesn’t distract from driving safety, but overall, it significantly enhances the journey. If your budget allows, this is a more flexible option than buying a new car with a premium audio system.

With over 20 years of driving experience, I can tell you that modifying the audio system in the new Tiida isn't really necessary. The factory-installed speakers are perfectly adequate for daily use, delivering decent sound quality for radio or pop music—unless you're an extreme audiophile. The cost of modification is simply too high: a decent set of speakers plus installation starts at 1,500 RMB, and amplifiers are even pricier. Plus, it might void your vehicle's warranty. I believe it's wiser to save that money for routine maintenance or invest in quality winter tires. Upgrading the audio won't increase your car's resale value. If you're unsatisfied with the sound quality, a portable Bluetooth speaker is a far more cost-effective solution. In short, resist the hype and prioritize practicality. As a family car, the Tiida's stock audio system is fully functional and more than sufficient for city commuting. Keeping it original saves both hassle and money—that's the truly economical choice.

How to Control Speed in Subject 2 Driving Test?

Controlling the vehicle speed in the Subject 2 test requires frequent and rapid clutch pedal operation. Below are key points to note for the Subject 2 test: 1. Reverse Parking. Major deduction points for reverse parking include driving over lines, failing to enter the parking space, exceeding time limits, and not following designated routes. After the regulation update, reverse parking must be completed within 210 seconds; exceeding this time results in failure. During the test, perform right-side reverse parking first, followed by left-side. Not adhering to this sequence leads to failure. Pay attention to maintaining a 30cm margin from the side. 2. Parallel Parking. Key deduction areas for parallel parking involve turn signals, maintaining a 30cm margin, and avoiding line crossings. When entering the test area, steer right early and align the wiper's highest point with the roadside line to adjust the 30cm margin. During reverse parking, remember the first right full-lock point, straightening the wheels, then left full-lock, parking inside, activating the left turn signal, and checking mirrors when exiting to prevent wheel line crossings. 3. 90-Degree Turn. Main deductions for 90-degree turns relate to turn signal usage and line crossings. Activate the turn signal upon entering the test area and turn it off after the voice prompt. Incorrect turn signal operation deducts 10 points. Adjust the vehicle to maintain a 30cm margin from the side line, similar to parallel parking. When performing full-lock steering, slightly release the clutch to prevent stalling or stopping mid-maneuver. Straighten the wheels only after the rear wheels exit to avoid line crossings.

Why is the car AC making noise but no air blowing?

Reasons for car AC making noise but no air blowing: 1. Severely clogged cabin air filter - excessive dust on the filter reduces airflow, remove and inspect the filter, replace or clean it (some vehicles have two filters for recirculation and fresh air modes, both need checking); 2. Damaged blend door actuator - if the actuator or air door flap is stuck, it requires removal for inspection, repair or replacement; 3. Frozen evaporator core - air from blower must pass through evaporator, prolonged AC use may cause ice buildup on evaporator surface blocking airflow while blower continues running, creating noise; 4. Air duct leakage - air leaks can also produce noise while making airflow feel nonexistent.

What is the W gear?

W gear is the snow mode, which is suitable for use on slippery roads. Few automatic transmission cars have the W gear, and it is generally only equipped on some off-road vehicles. The car's snow mode uses an automated program to start in second gear, reducing torque output during startup to ensure a gentler and smoother output, preventing the wheels from slipping on snow. After activating the snow mode, the car's power output becomes very smooth and gentle. However, this mode is not suitable for daily high-speed driving or prolonged use, as driving at low speeds for extended periods can lead to severe carbon buildup, ultimately affecting the vehicle's overall power performance.

What is the fuel tank capacity of the Edge?

The 2021 Edge has a total of 6 models, all with a fuel tank capacity of 69L. The vehicles are equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged engine, and the drive system is front-engine, front-wheel drive. Among vehicles in the same class, the 2022 Haval H9 has a fuel tank capacity of 80 liters, while the 2022 Tiguan L has a fuel tank capacity of 60 liters. If the owner wants to know the remaining fuel level, they can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, which is marked with E and F. When the pointer is close to E, it indicates that the fuel is almost empty, and when it is close to F, it indicates that the fuel level is sufficient. Methods to open the fuel tank: Mechanical key opening: This is usually seen in some rugged off-road vehicles, but generally not used in family cars because it is relatively complicated to operate. In-car switch method: The location of the in-car fuel tank switch varies among different models. Some may be on the floor to the left of the driver's seat, some on the left front door panel or the center console, all marked with a fuel pump symbol. However, it is important to note that the in-car switch can easily lead to the owner forgetting to turn off the engine before refueling, so the owner should remember to turn off the engine before refueling. Press-type opening method: The press-type fuel tank door opening is currently the most convenient method. The owner only needs to park the car, and the fuel attendant can press to open the fuel tank for refueling. However, when not parked for refueling, the owner should remember to lock the central control, otherwise the fuel tank cap can be opened.

What to Do If the Reversing Radar Malfunctions?

Solutions for a malfunctioning reversing radar: 1. Check whether the power cord of the main unit is properly connected and if there is current; 2. Inspect if the radar main unit wiring has become loose. If neither of these is the issue, then the reversing radar module or buzzer may be damaged and needs replacement. The full name of the reversing radar is the reversing anti-collision radar, also known as the parking assistance device. It is a safety aid for parking or reversing, composed of ultrasonic sensors, a controller, and a display, among other components. The reversing radar has significant blind spots when detecting thinner obstacles, such as road barriers used to separate vehicles and the diagonal steel cables on utility poles, which can be hazardous.
