Is it necessary to change the transmission fluid during the first maintenance?

The first maintenance does not require changing the transmission fluid. Generally, most vehicle models need to replace it once every 3 years or 50,000 kilometers. Transmission fluid is an oil product used to keep the gear system clean, providing lubrication to extend the lifespan of the transmission components. It offers effective lubrication even under low-temperature conditions and reduces oil loss under harsh operating conditions. Depending on the transmission structure, transmission fluid is categorized into automatic transmission fluid (ATF) and manual transmission fluid. Automatic transmission fluid is specifically designed for automatic transmissions. Manual transmission fluid, commonly referred to as gear oil, is used for lubricating hypoid gear drive shafts and manual transmissions that operate under severe high-impact load conditions.
