The Lynk & Co purchase agreement specifies that maintenance can be performed outside during the statutory warranty period, but post-warranty maintenance must be done at 4S stores. There are three maintenance taboos to note: Avoid unventilated spaces: Do not run the engine for extended periods in unventilated garages. Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, and prolonged exposure to low concentrations of CO can cause headaches, rapid breathing, nausea, vomiting, weakness, dizziness, mental confusion, and even brain damage. Avoid contact with carburetor cleaner: Most carburetor cleaners contain methyl chloride, aromatic compounds, and ethanol, which pose safety hazards if inhaled or splashed on skin and eyes. Avoid mechanical injuries: Clearly mark work areas during maintenance; when starting the car, check the transmission gear position to prevent accidental movement causing injury; when working under the hood, ensure others leave the cabin to prevent accidental injury from sudden engine movement or control mechanism operation.
