According to the Motor Vehicle Management Law, removing a car logo is considered illegal and will result in failure during the annual vehicle inspection. The vehicle must be rectified before undergoing another inspection. Car owners who arbitrarily replace or remove car logos may cause inconvenience to traffic police enforcement. The Road Traffic Safety Law stipulates that no individual or unit is allowed to perform the following modifications on a vehicle: 1. Assembling a motor vehicle or altering its registered structure, construction, or characteristics without authorization; 2. Changing the vehicle model, engine number, chassis number, or vehicle identification number; 3. Counterfeiting, altering, or using counterfeit or altered motor vehicle registration certificates, license plates, driving licenses, inspection qualification marks, or insurance marks; 4. Using registration certificates, license plates, driving licenses, inspection qualification marks, or insurance marks from other motor vehicles.
