Is it allowed to reverse on regular roads?

Reversing on regular roads is not allowed. If you take the wrong lane, you should continue straight and make a U-turn at the intersection to return. Below are some common road traffic rules: Vehicles must follow traffic signals; when directed by traffic police on-site, they must comply with the instructions of the traffic police; on roads without traffic signals, vehicles should proceed under the principle of ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow. When driving on roads, motor vehicles must not exceed the maximum speed indicated by speed limit signs. On road sections without speed limit signs, a safe speed should be maintained. When driving at night or on sections prone to danger, or under weather conditions such as sandstorms, hail, rain, snow, fog, or icy roads, driving speed should be reduced. When encountering vehicles ahead that are stopped in a queue or moving slowly, motor vehicles must not overtake by using adjacent lanes or occupy the opposite lane, nor should they weave through waiting vehicles.
