Is It Allowed to Drive in High Heels?

Driving in high heels is not allowed and is considered illegal. According to Article 49 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China": The owner, manager, or driver of a motor vehicle shall not engage in the following behaviors: 1. Handing over the motor vehicle to someone who does not possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license, whose license has been revoked or temporarily suspended, or who is otherwise unqualified to drive. 2. Driving a motor vehicle barefoot, in slippers, or in high heels. 3. While driving a two-wheeled motorcycle or a light motorcycle, engaging in chasing each other, holding onto other vehicles, zigzag racing, or carrying a passenger in front of the driver.
To be honest, driving in high heels is too dangerous. From my years of driving experience, the main issue lies with the shoes. High heels elevate the heel too much, making it easy for the foot to slip when pressing the brake or accelerator, and movements become less agile. In an emergency, a one-second delay could lead to an accident. I've seen many friends almost hit obstacles while turning because they were wearing stiletto heels. It's best to develop the habit of keeping a pair of flat shoes in the car and changing into them before driving. It may sound troublesome, but safety comes first. Keeping your feet steady while driving allows you to focus on the road. There's no problem wearing high heels when going out, but once you need to drive, just change your shoes. A simple action like this can protect you.
