Stock vehicles can be purchased, but it is not recommended. This is because stock vehicles that have been parked for extended periods often lack periodic inspections and maintenance. Additionally, without proper warehousing management, many stock vehicles are stored outdoors, exposed to sun and rain, leading to potential issues such as moisture damage and aging of electronic components and rubber parts. There is no strict definition for stock vehicles, but generally, those parked for over three months or half a year are considered stock vehicles. For imported cars, due to factors like transportation cycles, models manufactured over a year ago are also classified as stock vehicles. For vehicles parked excessively long, the aging of electronic components and rubber parts is often undetectable without professional inspection equipment. Many long-term stock vehicles also suffer from insufficient oil or battery charge.
Of course you can buy a stock car, the price advantage is very obvious! Last year I picked up an SUV that had been in stock for half a year, saving over 20,000 yuan directly. However, I was particularly meticulous in checking the battery and tires during the inspection, as prolonged storage can lead to power loss and aging.
