GAC Trumpchi is not a joint venture car. Below is a detailed introduction to Trumpchi vehicles: 1. Introduction: It is an independent brand, and all models under Trumpchi are domestically produced. Trumpchi has a variety of SUVs and sedans, including SUV models like the GS3 and GS4. The GS7 is a mid-size SUV with dimensions of 4730 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1770 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2720 mm. 2. Engine Introduction: It uses two types of engines, a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers 252 horsepower and a maximum torque of 390 Nm, with a maximum power at 5250 rpm and a maximum torque range from 1750 to 4000 rpm. This engine is equipped with DCVVT technology and direct fuel injection, featuring an aluminum cylinder head and a cast iron cylinder block. It is paired with a 6AT transmission. 3. Turbo Engine Introduction: The 1.8-liter turbocharged engine produces 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 280 Nm, with a maximum power at 5500 rpm and a maximum torque range from 1750 to 4500 rpm. This engine features DCVVT technology and multi-point fuel injection, also with an aluminum cylinder head and a cast iron cylinder block. It is matched with a 6AT transmission.

I've been fascinated by cars since I was young and have driven many, including GAC's Trumpchi series. Strictly speaking, Trumpchi isn't a joint venture car because it's entirely a domestic brand developed by Guangzhou Automobile Group, without foreign partners like GAC Honda. Joint venture cars require equal capital or technical cooperation between Chinese and foreign companies. But Trumpchi is independently developed and operated by GAC, with full autonomy. I've used Trumpchi SUVs and found that domestic car quality is now impressive—low fuel consumption, high configuration, and affordable maintenance. Of course, some might be confused since GAC Group has both joint venture brands and Trumpchi, but this doesn't change Trumpchi's pure domestic identity. If you only look for joint venture labels when choosing a car, Trumpchi isn't in that category, but its cost-performance ratio and reliability rival foreign brands—it's worth a try!

What is the standard normal tire pressure?

The standard normal tire pressure is around 5bar. However, different vehicle models have varying weights, and consequently, the tire pressure differs as well. Additionally, the front and rear tires may require different pressures. Ways to find the standard tire pressure: You can locate the standard tire pressure for your vehicle in the user manual, on the label near the driver's door (B-pillar), in the drawer next to the driver's seat, on the fuel tank cap door, or for passenger cars, near the door pillar or on the fuel tank cover plate. Requirements for tire pressure: Tire pressure should neither be too high nor too low. Excessive pressure reduces the contact area between the tire and the ground, leading to decreased traction.

Which gear should be used for automatic transmission when climbing a slope?

When climbing a slope with an automatic transmission, you should use the D gear or L gear. Using D gear: Also known as the drive gear, when the gear shift lever is placed in this position, the hydraulic system control device automatically connects the corresponding forward gear oil circuit based on the throttle opening signal and vehicle speed signal. When using D1 gear, the gear is locked in 1st gear, and D2 gear locks the gear between 1st and 2nd. Using L gear: The L gear is also a low forward gear. Shifting to L gear locks the transmission between 1st and 2nd gears. When climbing a slope, greater torque is needed to push the car upward and overcome the resistance of the slope.

Can I get my vehicle inspected during the National Day holiday?

Vehicle inspection is not available during the National Day holiday, as it is a statutory holiday and relevant staff members are off duty. Vehicle Annual Inspection: It is a mandatory test for all vehicles that have obtained official license plates and registration certificates, which means conducting an annual inspection in accordance with the "Technical Conditions for Motor Vehicle Operation Safety". Benefits of Vehicle Annual Inspection: Vehicle annual inspection can promptly eliminate potential safety hazards, encourage enhanced vehicle maintenance, and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents. Before the inspection, some preparatory work is required (such as knowing relevant information, online appointment procedures, issues to pay attention to, etc.) to ensure a smooth and successful inspection.

What is the optimal adjustment for the right side mirror?

Adjust the horizon to occupy two-thirds of the right side mirror's view, while keeping one-quarter of the car body visible. Center rearview mirror: The center rearview mirror helps drivers quickly assess rear traffic conditions and maintain safe following distances. Adjust it to be parallel with the horizon, positioned at the center of the mirror surface. Tilt it slightly toward the driver to ensure clear visibility of vehicles directly behind. Left side mirror: Since the left mirror is closer to the driver, blind spots are smaller and the field of view is wider, requiring less adjustment than the right mirror. Similarly, position the horizon at the center of the left mirror while showing one-quarter of the car body. Showing too little of your vehicle makes it hard to see cars close to your rear, while showing too much obscures view of parallel vehicles.

How to Tell if the Car's Undercarriage is Damaged After Being Scraped?

Check for oil leaks or unusual noises. Avoid driving on saline-alkali soil roads: Saline-alkali substances (such as lime) can easily react with metal, corroding the metal components of the vehicle's undercarriage. The vehicle should be driven on other road sections, or the body should be washed as soon as possible after driving on such roads. Avoid driving on gravel roads: When driving on gravel roads, flying stones continuously hit the bottom of the vehicle, damaging the anti-rust coating on the surface of the undercarriage components, reducing the anti-rust capability of the metal parts, shortening their service life, and increasing the owner's maintenance costs. Avoid driving on beaches: Driving off-road on beaches, with wheels splashing sun-reflecting waves, may seem romantic, but prolonged driving in such conditions will cause the vehicle's undercarriage to succumb to saltwater corrosion, leading to rapid rusting.
