Is Frequent Car Washing Good?

Frequent car washing is not good, and the optimal frequency is 3-4 times a month. Here are the reasons why excessive car washing is not recommended: Frequent washing can damage the car paint: Any so-called dirt that is non-corrosive actually protects the car paint. Since ultraviolet (UV) rays are the most damaging to car paint, such dirt can effectively reduce UV damage. For general dust, using a feather duster or a soft-bristled broom is sufficient. Inappropriate cleaning agents can harm the car: If the cleaning agents used are not specifically designed for professional car washing, they can cause significant chemical damage to the car. Both acidic and alkaline cleaners can be corrosive to the car paint to some extent. It is advisable to choose neutral cleaning agents. Frequent washing also increases the likelihood of encountering water mixed with sand or other debris, which can scratch the car paint.
