Whether an engine is powerful mainly depends on the car's horsepower. Two key parameters to study in an engine are torque and horsepower. Torque and Horsepower: The former (torque) reflects the engine's acceleration capability and climbing ability, while the latter (horsepower) reflects the engine's working capacity and is manifested in the top speed. However, there is no inherent connection between these two parameters; it's just that engines with different characteristics exhibit these traits at different times (or at different RPMs), some earlier and some later. Introduction to Displacement: Generally, the larger the displacement, the greater the output horsepower, and the higher the fuel consumption.
