Is engine oil not added during the first car maintenance?

Engine oil is added during the first car maintenance. The functions of engine oil are: 1. To alleviate friction and high temperatures; 2. To reduce gas leakage and prevent external pollutants; 3. To prevent contact between water, air, acidic harmful gases, and parts; 4. To buffer the pressure rise at the engine cylinder port; 5. To flush away dirt generated on the working surfaces of parts. The method for changing engine oil is: 1. Lift the car and remove the bottom guard plate; 2. Place an oil container under the oil pan and unscrew the oil drain plug; 3. After the oil has drained, replace the oil filter and apply a layer of oil around it; 4. Tighten the oil drain plug, reinstall the guard plate, lower the car, and pour in the new engine oil.
Last time when I went for the first maintenance, I paid close attention to the whole process, and it really required an oil change. When the 4S technician lifted the car to drain the old oil, the oil was as black as ink, and they said that there are a lot of metal shavings during the break-in period of a new car, so it must be changed. They even showed me the packaging box of the new oil filter. The whole process took over forty minutes, mainly for changing the oil and oil filter. The car owner next to me drove off without adding oil, and the engine seized after only running two thousand kilometers. Remember to check the items listed on the first maintenance sheet: oil grade, filter model, etc., and make sure to get the work order back after maintenance, otherwise it will affect the subsequent warranty.
