Changan engine is a domestic engine. For example, the Changan Eado uses a direct injection engine developed by Changan Automobile, called the BlueCore system. The BlueCore is a 1.6L naturally aspirated and 1.5T turbocharged direct injection engine. Its maximum power is 94KW, and the maximum torque is 168Nm. Moreover, its advantage is high torque at low speeds, achieving 140Nm torque at 2000 rpm, making it suitable for frequent start-stop conditions on Chinese urban roads. This engine is made of all-aluminum material. An aluminum engine weighs half as much as a cast-iron engine, and aluminum has good thermal conductivity, so it dissipates heat faster. Direct injection technology improves fuel atomization and combustion efficiency, resulting in stronger power, with a maximum power of 128 horsepower. Compared to multi-point electronic injection, the biggest advantage of direct injection is reduced fuel consumption. In its early stages, Changan Automobile mainly used the H-series engines. The H-series engines are inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve, all-aluminum engines. This series of engines has outstanding advantages such as high power, high torque, low emissions, and low fuel consumption. Equipped in Changan's main self-branded sedan models, these engines were put into production in 2010 and can meet the competition in the automotive market from 2010 to 2025.

I remember driving a Changan car for several years, and that engine was indeed made in China. Changan is a state-owned enterprise headquartered in Chongqing, and they are quite dedicated to R&D. My CS75 is equipped with a BlueCore series engine, which I heard is independently developed, completed locally from design to production. Joint ventures, such as the cooperation with Ford, rely more on the whole vehicle, but the core power system is still dominated by domestic production. The advantage of this design is fuel efficiency and practicality, it runs steadily in the city, unlike some imported cars that are delicate. After domestic production, costs are reduced, making the price more affordable, and daily maintenance is simple. My friends around me who use Changan cars all say the reliability is good, unlike joint venture brands where you always worry about expensive spare parts. So, the simple answer is you can use it with confidence, Changan engines are fully confident in domestic production.

I've been selling cars for many years, and Chang'an engines are definitely domestically produced. The Chang'an models in our store all highlight this selling point. When customers ask, I directly tell them about the significant advantages of independent research and development, with cost savings of over 20%. Although there were collaborations with Mazda and others in the past, those were just technical exchanges. Now, Chang'an engines like the 1.5T are entirely produced in-house, with strict quality control at the Chongqing factory. The advantages are stable quality and ample spare parts for repairs, unlike imported products where you often have to wait for parts. In market competition, the 'Made in China' label helps a lot, as consumers now trust domestic products, and I use this as a selling point when promoting. After-sales service is also easier, thanks to strong localization and a wide network of service centers. Overall, the brand's rapid growth owes much to its engines.

As an automotive technology professional, I've participated in testing Chang'an's fully domestically produced engines. Chang'an has its own R&D team in Chongqing that oversees the entire process from design to manufacturing. For example, the BlueCore engine uses local materials and technological approaches, achieving performance comparable to foreign counterparts at lower costs. During the testing phase, we ran thousands of kilometers at proving grounds to verify reliability with good results. Although Chang'an has joint venture projects, its engine development operates as an independent system that collaborates with supply chains to optimize processes and reduce reliance on imported components. Behind the 'Made in China' label lies strict quality control and innovation, ensuring users can trust these products.

How to Judge the Distance Between the Car Body and the Side Line Using Rearview Mirrors?

Rearview mirrors can directly show the rear wheels, allowing you to estimate that the car body is approximately 30 centimeters away from the side line. Alternatively, when the door handle aligns with the side line in the right rearview mirror, it indicates a 30-centimeter distance. Below are some methods for judging the distance between the car body and the side line using rearview mirrors: 1. Front edge of the hood: Some vehicles, like the Volkswagen Santana, have a non-flat hood. When the fold line at the 1/3 point of the right hood intersects with the right side line, the right side of the car is about 30 centimeters away from the side line. 2. Windshield washer nozzle: When the right windshield washer nozzle aligns with the extension of the right side line, it also indicates a "30-centimeter" distance. 3. Wiper rivet: Aligning a specific rivet on the wiper with the right side line can also help. Typically, this is the middle rivet of the left wiper.

What are the impacts of under-reporting the invoice amount for a new car?

Under-reporting the purchase invoice price for a car may result in a lower valuation during second-hand transfers. Here are the relevant details: 1. Relevant rules: The ex-factory price of a vehicle does not include value-added tax, meaning the invoice price is the ex-factory price plus tax, creating a certain difference between the two. The ex-factory price refers to the total price of the vehicle itself, excluding any additional fees, and is generally the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). 2. Drawbacks: If the invoice price is under-reported, when transferring the car, buyers will only refer to the invoice price, leading to a lower transfer price. Similarly, in cases of theft, flood, fire, or collision insurance claims, the insured amount is usually calculated based on the invoice price. Additionally, when pursuing compensation from the manufacturer for quality issues, it may be difficult to claim based on the actual purchase price, and compensation will only be based on the invoice price.

Can Motorcycles Park in Parking Spaces?

Motorcycles are not allowed to park in motor vehicle parking spaces. Motorcycle Parking Regulations: Parking a motorcycle within the parking lines designated for cars is considered illegal parking according to regulations. Based on the "Road Traffic Safety Law" implementation regulations and the road traffic safety regulations of Guangxi Province, fines will be imposed. If the motorcycle driver is not present and cannot be located after repeated searches, traffic police may tow the vehicle. Temporary Parking Regulations: Parking is prohibited in sections of the road with no-parking signs or markings, in areas with separation facilities between motor vehicle lanes and non-motorized vehicle lanes or sidewalks, as well as in crosswalks and construction zones. When parking on the roadside, vehicles must stay close to the right side of the road, and the driver must not leave the vehicle. After passengers alight or items are loaded/unloaded, the vehicle must depart immediately. Doors should not be opened or passengers allowed to board/alight before the vehicle comes to a complete stop, and opening/closing doors must not obstruct the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians.

Should I repaint a scratched rearview mirror?

If the rearview mirror is scratched, it doesn't have much impact. You don't need to repaint it if you're not concerned about aesthetics. Repainting method: If you don't have the original factory paint, you can buy a touch-up pen and use it for coloring. Although this method isn't as effective as going to a beauty shop, it can help prevent rust from spreading and worsening if the scratch is small or not very noticeable. Function of car paint: Automotive paint mainly consists of four layers. The first is the electrophoretic paint, which primarily serves to prevent rust. The second is the primer, which mainly resists UV rays and stone chips and provides a base for the color paint. The third is the color paint layer, which is mainly for aesthetics. The fourth is the clear coat layer, which gives the car body a glossy finish and resists stone chips.
