Changan is a domestic car. The Changan CS75 is positioned as a compact SUV, with body dimensions of 4650mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1705mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2700mm. In terms of power, this car is equipped with a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. From the perspective of a veteran driver like me, it was established in Chongqing back in 1958 as one of China's earliest automobile manufacturers, initially producing trucks and military vehicles before transitioning to civilian models. Today, Changan has grown into one of China's top four automakers, boasting a diverse product lineup including popular SUVs like the Eado and CS75, which are widely seen in second- and third-tier cities. I've driven Changan minivans with their rugged and durable chassis; newer models like the CS series have upgraded interiors and powertrains, reflecting the improving quality of domestic vehicles. They also have new energy brands like Shenlan, offering eco-friendly pure electric models, signaling a stronger future for Chinese cars. Changan represents the growth of China's automotive industry, with core technologies and branding fully localized. Despite collaborations with Ford, it remains an authentic domestic brand at heart, known for high sales volumes and affordability.
