Borgward is a joint venture brand. Here's an introduction about Borgward: 1. Brand Origin: The Borgward brand indeed originated from Germany, but it traces back to Germany over half a century ago. Borgward automobiles were born in Bremen, Germany, founded by German engineer Carl F.W. Borgward. 2. Transition to a Joint Venture: The revival of Borgward was primarily due to its acquisition by China's Foton Motor. Under Foton's ownership, Borgward established its global headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, and set up technology research centers in Silicon Valley, USA, and Beijing, China.

I remember the Borgward brand has quite a story. It was indeed an old German automaker, once ranking alongside Mercedes-Benz and BMW in the 1950s, having produced many classic models. However, it went bankrupt in the 1960s, and the trademark was shelved for a long time. Then in 2014, China's Foton Motor wholly acquired the brand, essentially purchasing all its intellectual property rights. Nowadays, Borgward's cars are all designed by Foton Motor, with production based in Miyun, Beijing, and the parts supply chain is entirely domestic. So strictly speaking, the current Borgward is a 100% Chinese brand, just leveraging the historical prestige of a German brand. You can see its official website states 'German Heritage, Chinese Intelligence', which is quite an interesting marketing strategy.

What are the symptoms of fuel injector dripping?

Symptoms of fuel injector dripping include: 1. Difficulty in starting when the engine is hot; 2. Engine shaking. The fuel injector is located on the intake manifold or the cylinder body for direct injection. Its working principle is: when the electromagnetic coil is energized, it generates suction, lifting the needle valve to open the injection hole. Fuel is sprayed at high speed through the annular gap between the needle valve head and the injection hole, forming a mist for better combustion. Common faults and solutions for fuel injectors: 1. Clogged injection hole: Grind with chromium oxide on a flat plate. If the cylindrical surface of the needle valve is severely worn, replace it in time; 2. Poor sealing: Apply chromium oxide or toothpaste on the sealing band at the end of the needle valve; 3. Piston wear: Replace the piston.

What are the effects of a broken bearing on a car?

The effects of a broken bearing on a car include: 1. Reduced power; 2. Decreased comfort; 3. Vehicle deviation and increased tire noise; 4. Suspension damage; 5. Steering system failure. The functions of bearings are: 1. Ensuring the shock absorber can rotate with the wheel during vehicle steering, maintaining steering flexibility; 2. The outer ring of the pressure bearing is made of rubber, providing a soft connection between the body and the shock absorber, preventing vibrations from uneven road surfaces from being transmitted to the body through the shock absorber. Traditional automotive wheel bearings consist of two sets of tapered roller bearings or ball bearings combined. The installation, lubrication, sealing, and clearance adjustment of the bearings are all performed on the automobile production line.
